I watched this video in ABSOLUTE HORROR...after seeing it posted on my boy Pony's page. I was in UTTER disbelief and shock. A black man was beaten to a pulp in Jackson,Mississippi in June. That's bad enough but what followed after that is INCOMPREHENSIBLE. After having been SAVAGELY beaten by a group of white teens...the ringleader jumps into a Ford truck and RUNS HIM OVER at close range. OMFG!!! Unbelievable.

Watch it for yourself. It is incomprehensible to me how a HUMAN BEING could ever treat another human being like this...but it's HERE to see.

God help us all. Because what is apparent to me if not so to anyone else...this young man who did this...is 18. That indicates that he was born about 1993. 1993...Wow.
60 years years after Brown vs. The Board of Education...
30 years after the March On Washington...you would HOPE that the notion of tolerance would be something that all of us had grasped by now. And perhaps those of us who had not...would at the very least STOP teaching our children to hate. Hopefully. But CLEARLY that ain't the case.
Because CLEARLY had that been the case...James Craig Anderson...would be alive today.
The mere fact that he's not and the circumstances surrounding his apparent demise at the hands of CHILDREN basically...
tells me there are PEOPLE somewhere TEACHING their CHILDREN...HATRED. STILL.
You see children aren't BORN hating. Not racially. Maybe peas. Perhaps cole slaw. NOT people. Fuck. Will we ever get it? I'm not so sure some of us ever will.
We should be wary of what OUR children are taught... by anyone...but when
YOU the parent are the culprit...of something like this...well that speaks volumes about just WHO...and WHAT you are.
God will be the judge...in the end...no doubt..and I think it would be WISE...if you were prayed up if your son or daughter was a part of these heinous shennanigans...
because SURELY...your ass is gonna BURN IN HELL.
And rightfully so.
If you taught these CHILDREN to behave and carry on like this...you are the LOWEST form of life...imaginable. You should be ashamed.
But make no bones about it...you're gonna pay. So help me God...you're gonna pay.

Sometimes We Have to Understand...

L.A. for all it's glitz, glamor and bright lights...can be a lonely place when you don't have a roof...don't have a bed to sleep in...are hungry and don't have food to eat.

I got a call today...from a friend. My friend had no where to stay. She was hungry. She had no money...she had nothing to eat. And with all that I'm going through myself the first thing I thought of was something my Mother told me as a child,

"Seek to understand son...don't always seek to be understood."

She told me this because I was complaining.

She told me I was ungrateful.

When you think that life has given you all that you can take. In most instances it has not.

When you think that God has forgotten you...he has not.

When you think your situation is hopeless...I guarantee you...somebody somewhere would die...

just to be in your shoes.

I told my friend..."don't worry...I'll come and get you...I'll put you up and we'll figure out a way to get you the help you need...come hell or high water...you mean something to me...after all you...are my friend."

My heart couldn't let my friend sleep outside tonight. No. Not tonight.

So I took her in and offered her shelter...and I made her food. She was welcome.

And I looked at the heavens...and I thought about the day my mother told me...

"Seek to understand son...don't always seek to be understood."

I was listening Mom. I heard you.

Well you...AIN'T SEEN NOTHING. Wait till you see Rayvaughn. Yeah buddy. Rayvaughn MADE Lebron. That's right. Taught him how to grow to be 6'7". Taught him the "crossover"...all dat shit. LOL!!

Perhaps this is all becoming old,tired...what have you. But I was just AGHAST at my boy Ray Vaughn or RayVaughn whatever his name is. Oh yeah RayVaughn is a DIEHARD Cleveland fan. Cleveland Cavaliers. Cleveland Browns. Cleveland Indians. You name it. If it loses during the regular season...and BLOWS games in the playoffs...guess what...RIGHT? Rayvaughn LOVES them. I ain't mad at him either. LOL!!! Because if you can go 5o years without winning a title and you STILL love your LOSING ass teams...MO POWER TO YOU. Me personally...I couldn't do it...but that's a WHOLE 'nutha blog...you feel may???

To be SURE. Nobody could even REMOTELY feel as

Honoring Those Who Gave So Much

It goes without saying...
That so many have given of themselves. Many have given the ultimate sacrifice...that being their lives. Many have merely given their time. But they all have served willingly...so that we might enjoy the fruits of freedom. Their sacrifices have made ours...a GREAT NATION.
There is a price that must be payed. Always. Freedom is not free. Ever.
So on this Memorial Day Weekend...let's salute those who have given of themselves...so that we can live in relative safety and our children have the benefit of directing their own lives in the path they choose for themselves...let's be mindful of that price.
We HONOR those who gave...and those that continue to give. God bless our servicemen and women of the UNITED STATES ARMED FORCES.
The ones that are here...and especially the ones that are gone.
